Conclusion

I recently just got my Krisflyer gold status. With this move by Singapore air on qualifying status without flying, I doubt for the coming year there will be an extension of status If you don’t qualify.

I can maintain my gold status by converting bank reward points and guess I’ll convert as and when my points are going to expire. This seems to be the easiest way to retain my status rather than spending $200,000.
