Built-in 2007, the hotel is 20 storeys high with 262 rooms and 37 suites. It is located at 29 Tanglin Road, going to orchard road one of the primary destinations only took you a short 5-10 minutes walk.
As a Marriott Gold Elite, I can check In at 11 am subject to room availabilities. The Check-in process is a bit slow and they require all stayers particular including kids, not sure if it is due to the Covid-19 procedure. The check-in manager is very friendly and brings us to our room and explained all the pieces of equipment, control, and switches in the room
On the coffee table is my birthday cake cause it’s my birthday week and one of my children. Appreciate the Hotels taking note of their member’s birthday.
Regardless of the room type, you will get to enjoy their signature Butler service. Suites stayer will have personal Butler service. You can request the Butler to unpack and pack your luggage, requesting coffee/tea and reservation of dining
Upon entering the room, the bar counter is on the left. There are TWG teabags and a french press for coffee but who need all these when you can call the Butler to deliver to your room directly. Bottles of mineral water are complimentary.
Within the drawers are snacks that I never saw before. Miniature bottles of sprites are available at a fee.
Further down Is the bar fridge and wine glasses. Plenty of choices.
Request for a 2 super single beds so the kids can sleep on their own. The room is spacious and comes with a working table plus a sofa. WiFi is provided free of charge to all Guests.
I had a garden view room and you overlook botanic garden.
The room also comes with a wardrobe big enough to keep luggage and your clothing.
The bathroom comes with a bathtub and heated mirrors. There is also his and her basins.
The toilet bowl and rain shower are also seperated and comes with everyone’s fav billet.
Bath amenities are from Remède Spa and while I normally don’t use in-house branded bath amenities. The amenities from St Regis are so comfortable and the smell is so wonderful just like you are in the Spa.
The swimming pool is 50m lap pool and it’s quite deep after the steps. Feel like lazing the whole afternoon at the pool just like the Sculpture.
Fancy a glass of champagne? There will be a Champagne sabrage ritual and it is a ritual that is available at all St Regis hotels. The practice dates back to the early battles of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who would open a bottle of champagne with his sabre in both victory and defeat.
Dinner is at Brasserie Les Saveurs and reservation is made by my Butler.
Breakfast is also served at Brasserie Les Saveurs. There’s a small buffet spread serving the usual sausage and pieces of bread and ham. There is hot food available for order by the menu.
This marks the end of my staycation and review of St Regis. Will I go again the answer will be Yes. The room is spacious, Butler handles your request.
