After the closure of Nook at 15 Stamford in the Capitol Kempinski on 31st Dec 2020, Members are left without an official lounge space for food and drinks.
American Express has officially unveiled the space that members has been wondering about.
Platinum at Basque Kitchen
Centurion and Platinum Charge card members will be able to access this one MICHELIN-starred Basque Kitchen from 20th April 2021 onwards and the expiry of the lease is till 19th April 2023.
This is different from previous lounge which only last for a few months.
Cardmembers will get access to priority reservations for the restaurant, and a suite of complimentary experiences including a glass of 2012 Boërl & Kroff Blanc de Noirs for Centurion Members, a glass of 2006 Piper-Heidsieck “Cuvée Rare” Brut Champagne for Platinum Charge Members, and complimentary valet service if you dine there.
The complimentary drink is available to primary and supplementary cardholders for each visit and If you have guests then their drinks will be chargeable.
Basque Kitchen is located within The Fullerton Waterboat House and operating from Tuesday to Saturday. Lunch and dinner are priced at S$158++ and S$248++ respectively per guest.
I enjoyed the service and coziness at Nook. I hope the experience will be the same or better for Platinum at Basque Kitchen. Nook at Capitol enjoys cheap parking or free parking if you spend a certain amount while the parking fee is a nightmare when you park at One Fullerton.
